Liverpool has announced that they have signed 26 year old attacking midfielder Adam Lallana from Southampton for 25 million pounds.
Lallana made 250 appearances for Southampton and scored 48 goals during his 8 years at the club. Lallana also became captain of Southampton in 2012.

Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has signed a 1 year contract extension with the London clubs keeping Schwarzer at Chelsea until 2015.
