It is reported that Arsenal's Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis has warned that there is a concern about conflicts of interest with agents in football and more money to be in the player's pockets than agents.

In the national press there is report that a football agent has dealt with more than £1bn in football transfer fees.

In the Mail on Sunday it states:

"With a typical ‘take’ of ten per cent commission per deal, the friend and adviser to Cristiano Ronaldo and Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will have pocketed more than £20 million in this summer’s transfer window, and more than £100 million in commissions during his career."

Blackpool sack manager Paul Ince

Blackpool has sacked manager Paul Ince after just 11 months in charge of the club. The announcement was made following a poor run of games for the seasiders. Blackpool has lost 9 of their last 10 games and drew the other game. The club have also announced that they have appointment manager Barry Ferguson in temporary charge as a player manager.

 A club statement said: "Blackpool Football Club can confirm that manager Paul Ince and assistants Alex Rae and Steve Thompson have had their contracts terminated with immediate effect.
