Will England’s Home game feel like an Away day?

With England’s most important football match for years tonight a debate surrounding the ticket allocation has arose.

Poland who will be the so called away team for tonight’s clash at Wembley have received more than double the normal allotted amount of tickets for an away team. Many people slam the FA’s decision but was the FA right to allow the ticket allocation? Should the FA have been more concerned with giving full advantage to England with an over powering home atmosphere? Is this more about safety of fans through segregation rather than qualification for the World Cup 2014? The decision by the FA would lead many to believe that the safety of fans is the most important issue. Are they right too? We at football agents ask your opinion.

The English players have said openly that the ticket allocation does not affect them nor should it affect the performance in a negative manor. Leighton Baines believes:

“if the away fans add to the atmosphere the home fans produce, it just adds to the occasion”.

Do you agree with this view?

We at football agents ask would it affect you and your performance especially if Poland go ahead early in the game?

However let’s not forget this is not the first time ticket allocations to home and away teams have varied. A recent game between Scotland and Republic of Ireland altered the allocation of tickets. The game was a success both on and off the field.

All the above may need be answering. However will it matter if England qualify automatically? Will many be looking for other excuses if England do not?
