West Ham declared preferred choice for Olympic Stadium

West Ham have today been declared as the prefered bidders to take over the Olympic Stadium.

The news means West Ham have taken a giant step in their hope of becoming the first tenants of the 80,000 Seater Stadium (Soon to change to a capacity of 60,000) - though some contractual matters still need to be resolved before the deal is confirmed.
