Andres Villas Boas has come through a difficult time in his managerial career but still remains ambitious of winning the Premier League with his new club, Tottenham Hotspur. The White Hart Lane club may have to fulfil this ambition without Croatian maestro Luka Modric as Villas Boas has also revealed that Luka Modric is likely to be sold in the transfer window.
The young Portuguese manager has already experienced a successful career, his most notable achievement being winning the Europa League with Porto at the age of 33, this age makes Villas Boas the youngest manager to ever win a European competition. However Villas Boas could not emulate his success at Stamford Bridge, his stint as manger only lasting 9 months. Villas Boas has also outlined a transfer target in fellow countryman Joao Moutinho who impressed massively in Portugual's strong Euro 2012 campaign, Moutinho is being lined up as a potential replacement for Luka Modric. Villas Boas has also declared his interest in signing Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor following his impressive season long loan spell at Tottenham last season. Villas Boas feels these signings could prove key for the title push he is promising.
