Valdes agent denies report

The football agent of former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes has denied reports that claims Valdes rejected a trial at Liverpool.

Liverpool have been heavily linked with the Spanish goalkeeper over the summer but no deal has been forthcoming.

Valdes agent has confirmed that he has had no contact with Liverpool nor Brendan Rodgers and has confirmed they have not rejected any trial offered by Liverpool.

The agent said "Liverpool didn't ask us to train for four days. We haven't rejected it because it [the story] is false,"

"Neither Brendan Rodgers nor Liverpool have ever made us this proposal, at any time."
