Swansea sign Fabianski from Arsenal

Swansea City Football Club has today confirmed that they have signed Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski on a 4 year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Fabianski found it hard to gain first team opportunities and spent the majority of his Arsenal career on the bench. However, Fabianski was in goal for the FA cup final against Hull on the 17th May.

The 21 year old who has 21 caps for Poland turned down a contract extension at Arsenal as he felt he would not gain much first team experience behind Polish team mate Wojciech Szczesny.

Fabianski is the first signing made by new Swansea manager Gary Monk, Fabianski is expected to join up with Swansea when his contract expires on the 1st July.
