Slovakia shock Spain

European Champions Spain suffered a shock defeat against Slovakia who beat the champions at home in Zilian.

The home side took the lead against the run of play in the 17th minute when Juraj Kucka’s scored a free kick which deceived Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

Spain dominated the rest of the first half but could not break down the Slovakian defence.

Spain found it hard to break down the Slovakian but scored the equaliser in the 82nd minute when striker Paco Alcacer.

5 minutes later the former Chelsea man Miroslav Stoch headed the ball past Casillas to seal the win.
