Shelvey Renews Liverpool Contract

Liverpool starlet Jonjo Shelvey has announced that his future is very much within Liverpool after signing a new long term contract with the club. The former Charlton Athletic man spent half of last season on a loan deal with Blackpool which ended successfully scoring an impressive 6 goals within 10 matches from midfield. He was recalled to Liverpool following his impressive form however his first experience's of football in the premier league each week proved to be unsuccessful, Shelvey earning a large amount of criticism from the media due to his questionable performances.
Shelvey is evidently determined to prove his worth to the Liverpool set up and has shown a clear sign of intent by signing this new long term contract. Jonjo Shelvey has been widely tipped to shine following his 1.7 million pound move from Charlton, he has scored one goal in the Premiership, a 30 yard strike into an empty net at Anfield against Chelsea. Shelvey has been capped for England at several youth levels, from U16 to U21.
