Ozil apologizes to Arsenal fans

Arsenal and German playmaker Mesut Ozil has apologised to the club and Arsenal fans after his penalty miss in the 2.0 defeat to German champions Bayern Munich.

Ozil decided to take a 2 step run up when taking his penalty before his tame effort was saved by Manuel Neuer.

Ozil took to social media to apologize to his fans saying “The next morning doesn't feel better either," Ozil stated. "Sorry guys - it wasn't planned that way”

Arsenal is now up against it and will have to overhaul a 2.0 deficit to qualify for the quarter finals of the champion’s league.
