Manchester United easily beaten in Greece

Manchester United has suffered another devastating blow after getting beat 2.0 by Olympiakos in Greece. The home side took the lead after 38 minutes when a deflected shot hit Alejandro Dominguez wrong footing Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea. The second goal came in the 54th minute of the second half when a great solo goal from Joel Campbell (on loan from Arsenal) put the home side 2.0 up. Joel Campbell’s goal was a great effort from 30 yards out leaving De Gea helpless in the Manchester United goal.

After the game Manchester United manager David Moyes took responsibility for the defeat and branded his team’s performance as the “worst in Europe this season”. David Moyes also said after the match “A really poor performance tonight. We never got going from the start and we didn't deserve anything because of the way we played tonight.

"We just never really got to grips with things. To a man, you could hardly pick anyone out, we just didn't perform. We came into the game in good form, a good mind set, but we didn't show that tonight”.
