Liverpool defender Daniel Agger willing to compete for his place

Liverpool defender Daniel Agger has vowed to fight for his place at Liverpool. The Danish defender has been struggling to get into the starting 11 since the arrivals of Kolo Toure and Mamadou Sakho. But Agger has confirmed that he is willing to fight for his place at Liverpool and has said “I am more than capable of being in the team - I feel I belong there - but it is the manager's decision and sometimes that is difficult to change in training”. There has been many rumours linking Agger with a move from Liverpool but with these comments it looks like Agger may be committed to Liverpool. Agger started against Fulham last week for the first time in 9 games, which seen Liverpool keep their first clean sheet in 9 games.
