Liverpool claim all awards for March

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has been awarded the manager of the month award for March. Liverpool has been unbeaten in March and has won their last 7 games. This is the second time this season Brendan Rodgers has won the award, the first being in August.

Liverpool has also won the award for player of the month. The award was shared with Liverpool striker Luiz Suarez and Liverpool Captain Steven Gerrard. Suarez who is also in contention to win the golden boot award has been in great form this season. Suarez has scored 6 goals in the month of March and has scored 29 goals this season. Steven Gerrard who jointly won the award has scored 4 goals in March and has also been in great form. Gerrard who now plays a more defensive role has looked revived under manager Brendan Rodgers.
