Chelsea out of Champions League

Despite a 6-1 demolition of FC Nordsjaelland, Chelsea became the first cup holders in Champions League history to go out of the competition in the group stages.

Fernando Torres silenced a few critics when he slotted a brace after 56 minutes, but the 6-1 victory was not good enough to secure Chelsea a place in the Knockout Stages of the Competition.

In the other game in the group, Juventus beat Shakhtar 1-0 to mean Chelsea go into the Europa League as third placed finishers.
