Cech to leave if not first choice keeper

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has confirmed that he will leave the club in the near future if he is the second choice keeper to Thibault Courtois.

Cech has found himself on the bench for the majority of Chelsea’s games this season and has confirmed he will be looking for first team football with the European Championships in 2016.

Cech who has been at the club for 10 years and has almost made 500 appearances for the club said “With the European Championships in 2016 and the national team in mind, there is no time for me to sit on the bench and not to play.

“I have not spoken to anybody at the club but if the situation will not start to improve for me then I will want to solve it.”
